A material vocabulary, not a single metal
Five material families, chosen for how they age and how they feel under a hand or a foot. Each vessel uses two at most, plus one metal accent.
Quiet, still, and easy to keep clean
The mechanism is the part most bins get wrong. Ours uses a silicone damper to slow the lid, a steel ballast plate to keep the body still, and a tension collar to hold a standard bag out of sight.
| Lid close | Silicone damper, under 2 seconds |
|---|---|
| Cycle test | 100,000 lid openings, 50,000 pedal presses |
| Stability | Steel ballast plate in the base of every pedal vessel |
| Finish test | 96-hour salt spray on all powder coat |
| Bags | Standard sizes, held by a hidden tension collar |
| Fixings | Stainless machine screws, one hex size throughout |
| Shipping | Box drop-tested to ISTA 3A |
Replace a part, not the vessel
Every moving part is fastened, not glued, and replaces with the hex key in the box. Parts are free within the 10-year warranty and sold close to cost after it.

Unboxing furniture, not a parcel
Unbleached kraft, molded pulp and a cotton dust sleeve. No foam, no plastic film. The vessel stands upright, so the first thing you see is the lid.
